KPV (Lysine–Proline–Valine) is a naturally occurring three-amino-acid peptide derived from the end of the hormone α-MSH (alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone). It's being studied primarily for its anti-inflammatory and immune-modulating effects, rather than for muscle growth or weight loss.
KPV has shown promise in preclinical (lab and animal) studies because it appears to reduce inflammation without broadly suppressing the immune system.
